Wat deze code betekent
The circuit driving the Control Pilot status indicator is open.
Read the title carefully, because the difference between this code and P0CF3 is the whole of the diagnosis. P0CF3 is the Control Pilot itself — the pin carrying the charging negotiation, without which no charge point anywhere will energise a cable. This is the little light that reports what the pilot is doing. The negotiation is fine; the lamp telling you about it is not.
So the car charges perfectly and appears not to. The owner plugs in, sees nothing, assumes the charge has failed, and unplugs — which is the actual harm here and the reason a lamp fault is worth fixing on an electric car in a way it would not be on a petrol one. On a car whose charging is invisible, the indicator is the only feedback there is at the moment of plugging in.
It is an ordinary low-voltage circuit fault: the driver in the module, the wiring, or the lamp.
