O que fazer
Check your tyres first: pressures, sizes and tread depth on all four. A soft tyre, a space-saver spare, or one odd tyre will cause this on its own. If it appeared in snow, ice or mud it may simply be the conditions and will clear. If the tyres are fine and the light stays on, have the brakes and wheel bearings checked — something is making one wheel behave differently from the others.

The stability system has been active for longer than expected.
This is not an electrical fault. It is the system reporting that it has been intervening continuously, and that is a statement about the car or the road rather than about a sensor.
Stability control is designed to act in bursts — a fraction of a second at a time, at the limit of grip. Continuous intervention means something is asking it to correct all the time, and the module logs it because sustained braking of individual wheels overheats them and because a car that always needs correcting has something wrong with it.
The innocent explanation is genuine conditions: deep snow, ice, mud, or a long stretch of gravel. Driving out of the conditions clears it.
The explanations that matter are mechanical. A single soft or wrong-sized tyre makes one corner turn at a different rate for ever, which reads as permanent slip. A space-saver spare does exactly this and is a common trigger. Beyond that: mismatched tyres, uneven tread depths, a dragging brake, a failing wheel bearing, or a differential problem.
So check the tyres first — all four, pressure and size and tread. It is free and it is the answer more often than anything else in this range.
