The car may cut out momentarily, be hard to start, or go flat when standing. Ask whether the module's main relay can be swapped with an identical one elsewhere in the fusebox as a test — most vehicles have several the same, relays are among the cheapest parts on the car, and if the fault follows the relay it is proven without buying anything.
O que este código significa
The module's power relay sense reading comes and goes. The mechanism, and why an orderly power-down matters, are at P2510.
A relay is a mechanical switch, and its characteristic ageing failure is exactly this: contacts that have pitted from switching load make good contact sometimes and poor contact other times, with the behaviour changing as the relay warms. That makes the relay itself the leading suspect here rather than the wiring, which is a departure from the usual advice on intermittent codes — and it is convenient, because a relay is one of the cheapest parts on the vehicle and is often plug-in.
The cheapest possible test is to swap it with an identical relay elsewhere in the fusebox, which most vehicles have, and see whether the fault follows. That is the same reasoning as the coil and oxygen sensor swap tests the corpus recommends elsewhere, applied to the one component where it is easiest.
