Charging stops before the battery is full
The session ends early — the car reports charging complete at 80 or 90 per cent, or simply stops and will not resume without unplugging. Distinct from a car that will not start charging and from one that charges slowly, and the distinction narrows it usefully: the negotiation worked, the current flowed, and something ended it. Some of this is deliberate and not a fault at all, since many cars stop at a set percentage to protect the pack unless told otherwise. What this usually means
The distinction from the neighbouring complaints narrows this usefully: the negotiation worked, current flowed, and something ended it. That rules out the signal-pin and authorisation faults that dominate a car which will not start charging at all.

Many cars stop at a set percentage to protect the pack unless told otherwise, and a daily charge limit set at 80 per cent is doing exactly what it was asked.
