Stuck valve in the valve body
A spool valve bound in its bore by varnish or debris rather than worn. Frequently intermittent and temperature-dependent — it frees as the fluid thins and sticks again when cold — which is why the complaint so often starts as "only in the morning" and gets dismissed. A fluid and filter service resolves a real share of these.
Typically specialist work. Needs equipment or training most home workshops do not have.
