P2613: Air Conditioning Refrigerant Distribution Valve A Control Circuit High
What to do
The car is fine to drive and nothing is at risk. The air conditioning will work in one part of the vehicle and not the other.
If any interior work has been done in the back of the vehicle, mention it straight away — a rear speaker, a boot light, a third-row seat, a towbar electrical kit, a water leak being chased, or trim off for any reason. This connector gets unclipped for access during all of those and left not quite seated, and nobody connects that to the air conditioning afterwards. Checking it is free.
As at P2611, one zone cooling normally is good evidence that the refrigerant charge is fine, so a regas is unlikely to be the answer.
What this code means
The refrigerant distribution valve's control circuit reads above its valid range — an open circuit, a disconnected connector, or a short to supply.

The connector is the thing to check first, and there is a specific reason it is disturbed more than most. A rear air conditioning unit is reached by removing interior trim, and interior trim comes off for a great many unrelated reasons — a rear speaker, a boot light, a third-row seat, water leak investigation, accident repair, or fitting a towbar electrical kit. Each of those is an opportunity for this plug to be unclipped for access and not fully reseated, and none of them has any obvious connection to air conditioning, so the link is rarely made.
A code from this family appearing after any interior work in the rear of the vehicle is that until shown otherwise, and it costs nothing to check.
