This code says another module has a fault and asked for the light — it does not say what the fault is. If this is the only code your reader shows, the reader is the limitation rather than the car: it is talking to the engine module and the real code is in the drive motor module. Ask for a scan that covers all modules before anything is diagnosed or replaced.

The drive motor control module has asked for the malfunction indicator lamp to be lit.
This is not a fault. It is a request, and the corpus has met the pattern three times already — at P0A7B for the battery module, P0AC4 for the hybrid powertrain module, and in its original form at P0700 for the transmission.
Only one module on most vehicles owns the lamp. Everything else that wants the driver's attention has to ask it, and this code is that message being recorded. So a basic reader that shows P0CA1 alone is showing the messenger, and the code describing the actual fault is stored in the drive motor control module rather than in the one being read.
The practical consequence is money. A reader that only talks to the engine module — which includes most inexpensive ones and some phone adapters — will show this and nothing else, and the obvious conclusion is that something is wrong with the drive motor. What is actually needed is a tool that can interrogate the other modules, and until one is used there is no diagnosis here at all, only a forwarded message.
