The car drives entirely normally. This is a second disc player — usually part of a rear-seat entertainment system, or an old-style multi-disc changer in the boot.
The first question is whether your car actually has one. Rear entertainment is an option that most cars were not built with, and if the stereo or another module has been replaced with a second-hand one from a better-equipped car, your car may now be looking for equipment it never had. That is a coding correction and there is nothing to repair.
If the screens are in the roof or the headrests, mention any work that has involved the headlining or the pillar trims — sunroof repairs, roof consoles, airbag work — because the wiring runs through both and connectors get left unseated.
As at U0488, this is worth attending to even if nobody uses it. A failed module on the network can keep the car awake after it is locked and flatten the battery over a few days. If you would rather it was simply removed, that is a reasonable answer — but it must be coded out properly, not just unplugged.

A second player usually means a rear-seat entertainment system — a screen in a headrest or dropping from the roof, with its own player — or, on an older luxury vehicle, a dash unit plus a boot-mounted multi-disc changer.
Which makes the coding question from U0446 the one to ask first. Rear entertainment is an option, fitted to a minority of vehicles on a shared loom, and a head unit or gateway coded for a specification the car was not built to reports a module that was never installed. That is common on second-hand infotainment components, and there is no fault to find.
Where the module does exist, the roof-mounted case has its own cause. A drop-down screen unit sits in the headlining, reached by exactly the work described at U0486 — sunroof repairs, curtain airbags, roof consoles — and fed by cables that run through pillar trims which come off for other jobs. Water entering at the roof reaches it before it reaches anything else.
Otherwise everything at U0488 applies unchanged, including the network-awake argument and the option of decommissioning the module properly rather than leaving it complaining.
