P0EED: Descarga do sistema da bateria de tração — circuito, desempenho
O que fazer
The car will probably still drive, and this still needs a properly equipped workshop rather than a general one. The fault is in the circuit that makes the high voltage system safe after it is switched off.
Do not let anyone work on this car's orange cabling, and do not attempt anything yourself. The system stores several hundred volts in capacitors that are normally drained automatically within seconds of shutdown — and this code says that draining cannot be relied on. The usual proof that the car is safe to touch is the thing that has failed.
Take it to a workshop with high voltage training and equipment, which usually means a franchised dealer or an EV specialist. It is a reasonable question to ask when booking.
If the car has been in any kind of collision, however minor, say so. The same circuit is triggered by a crash signal, and that is exactly when it must work.
O que este código significa
The circuit that deliberately drains the high voltage system is not performing as it should.
This is a safety circuit rather than a driving one, and understanding what it protects explains why the code exists at all.
A hybrid or electric drivetrain does not stop being dangerous when the battery contactors open. Between the pack and the motor sit large capacitors — the DC link — which smooth the enormous current pulses the inverter draws. They can hold several hundred volts for a long time after the pack has been disconnected, and several hundred volts across a person's hands is lethal. So the system carries a discharge circuit: resistors switched across the link to dump that energy as heat within a few seconds whenever the pack is isolated, whether at shutdown, at a service disconnect, or on a crash signal from the airbag module.
Which makes this a fault about a guarantee. A discharge circuit that has not proved it works means nobody can assume the system is safe once it is switched off — the very assumption every rescue crew and every technician makes.
The corpus's family-split pattern applies here and is worth knowing before diagnosing it. The timing members of this family live hundreds of numbers away at P0C75 and P0C76 — discharge time too short and too long — while this, the circuit code, sits here in P0Exx. A scan tool listing one from each block is describing a single system. Too long means the energy is not being dumped; too short usually means an unintended path, which is its own hazard.
This is not a driveway job under any circumstances. High voltage work needs the correct isolation procedure, the correct gloves and a meter rated for it, and the whole point of this code is that the usual proof of safety may be exactly what has failed. An orange cable is a warning rather than a colour scheme.
The vehicle usually still drives, which is why it must be said plainly: it should be taken to somebody equipped for high voltage work rather than left with a general workshop, and it should not be worked on in the meantime.

- O carro — marca, modelo, ano e motor. A mesma falha se comporta de forma diferente em cada um.
- O que você mediu, não só o que trocou.
- O que realmente resolveu — ou que nada resolveu, o que também vale saber.
