O que fazer
The car drives normally. The heated wheel may simply have stopped working.
One thing raises the priority sharply: if the airbag warning light is also on, or the horn or the buttons on the wheel have stopped working, deal with this promptly. Everything electrical in a steering wheel reaches it through a single coiled ribbon cable that lets the wheel turn — and that ribbon also carries the driver's airbag. When several wheel functions fail together, that ribbon is the common cause, and the airbag is the part that matters.
If it is only the heating, it is a comfort fault and can wait — though it is worth mentioning any recent steering, airbag or column work, since that ribbon is disturbed by all three and is easy to damage on refitting.

Before anything is diagnosed, establish that the vehicle actually has this equipment.
This is optional kit, and the commonest cause of a code naming it is a car that was told it has one when it does not. A body control module or gateway coded to a higher specification, a second-hand module carrying its donor vehicle's configuration, or a retrofit that was wired in but never coded — all three report equipment that is not there, and none of them is a fault in the vehicle.
Nothing is broken in that case and nothing needs replacing. The repair is a coding correction, and it is quick when somebody asks the question first.
Where it is fitted, this module has a problem no other comfort module has: everything it needs must cross a joint that rotates.
Power and signals reach the steering wheel through the clockspring — a flat ribbon cable coiled inside a housing so the wheel can turn several times each way without breaking the connection. Every electrical thing in the wheel shares it: the airbag, the horn, the audio and cruise buttons, the paddles, and the heater element.
Which gives the single most useful diagnostic fact here. If the heated wheel has stopped and the horn, the wheel buttons or the airbag light are misbehaving, the clockspring is the shared cause and the heater is not the fault. One part explains all of it.
An airbag warning alongside this code changes the priority completely. The same ribbon carries the driver's airbag, and a clockspring failing on one circuit is a clockspring to be dealt with promptly — not because the heater matters, but because the airbag does.
The other cause is the element itself. A heating element woven through a wheel rim is flexed and gripped for the life of the car, and a broken element reads as an implausible resistance rather than a clean open.
