Que faire

Expect several warning lights and probably reduced power, because a whole group of parts has lost its supply at once.

The single most valuable thing to know here: if you have been given a list of faults naming several unrelated parts, do not authorise replacing them. This code says a shared power supply inside the engine module has failed, and everything running from that supply reports itself broken as a result. The parts are very probably fine.

Ask for the supply itself to be tested first — the relay that feeds it, the module's earth connections, and the wiring between them. Those are cheap, they are where these faults usually are, and fixing one of them typically clears every code on the list at once. The module itself is the last thing to suspect, not the first, even though it is the thing reporting the problem.

Ce que signifie ce code

An open circuit on the second of the module's actuator supply rails. The first is rail A, at P0657–P0659.

Understanding what an actuator supply rail is explains a whole class of confusing faults, and it is the most useful thing on this page.

A control module does not power every actuator from a separate feed. It has a small number of internal supply rails, each switched and monitored, and it hangs a group of actuators off each one — solenoids, valves, relays, motors, whatever the packaging and current budget put together. The grouping is electrical, not mechanical. The parts sharing rail B may have nothing whatever to do with one another: an exhaust gas recirculation valve, a turbocharger actuator and a fuel system solenoid can sit on the same rail purely because the module's designers balanced the load that way.

So when a rail fails, the module reports faults on everything attached to it, all at once — and the resulting list of codes has no common component anywhere in it. That is precisely the shape that leads to expensive misdiagnosis, because the natural reading of five unrelated actuator codes is five unrelated problems, and every one of the named parts tests as faulty from the module's point of view.

The rule worth carrying away: when several actuator codes appear together and share no mechanical system, stop looking for what they have in common mechanically and find what they share electrically. A rail supply code appearing alongside them is the answer already; if one has not been stored, the shared supply is still the thing to measure first. Do not replace the parts the other codes name.

This is the same argument the corpus makes at P0562, P0641 and P0882 in three other places — a module starved of voltage misbehaves rather than dying, and records faults naming healthy components. It is worth knowing as a pattern rather than as four separate facts.

Where the fault usually is: the rail is fed through the powertrain or main relay and returns through the module's grounds, so a failing relay, a corroded ground point or a damaged supply wire accounts for most of these. The module itself is the last suspect, not the first, even though the code is stored by the module and names its own supply.
