P2674: Calibration carburant de la pompe d'injection — non appris
Que faire
If this appeared right after work on the injection pump or the engine module, nothing is broken — a calibration step has been missed.
The pump has to tell the module how much fuel it actually delivers for a given command, either through a calibration routine or by entering a code printed on the pump. Until that happens the module works from default figures, so fuelling is slightly wrong everywhere: uneven idle, smoke, and economy that has changed for no obvious reason.
Go back to whoever did the work and ask whether the pump calibration was carried out. It is part of the job and takes a few minutes.
One extra question worth asking if injectors were replaced at the same time: those carry their own separate calibration codes, and they have to be entered per cylinder. Getting the pump done and the injectors missed leaves the engine running badly for a reason that looks identical.

The module has no fuel quantity calibration stored for the injection pump, and is metering on default values.
The companion to P2673, and the distinction between them is worth holding: that code is about when fuel is delivered, this one is about how much. Both are learned corrections for an individual pump's tolerances, both are set at the point of fitting rather than discovered by the module, and both leave the engine running on defaults until they are entered.
The quantity correction matters for the same reason the timing one does. A pump delivering a little more or less than the module believes throws off the entire fuelling calculation, and every downstream strategy — smoke limiting, particulate filter regeneration, the fuel trims themselves — is built on the assumption that a commanded quantity is the delivered quantity.
The symptoms lean toward fuelling rather than combustion harshness: uneven idle, smoke under acceleration, economy that has changed for no apparent reason, and on some vehicles a noticeable difference in how the engine pulls between cylinders or across the rev range.
Everything at P2673 about when this appears and why it gets misread applies here without modification, and the two very often appear together after the same piece of work. A single calibration procedure normally restores both.
One addition worth knowing: on many vehicles the individual injectors carry their own calibration codes as well as the pump, and those are a separate step. If a set of injectors was fitted at the same time as the pump, both sets of values need entering — see P2690 onward, where an uncoded injector has its own family of codes.
