If the front of the car has had any impact at all, mention it. This code means the sensor has stopped talking to the rest of the vehicle rather than that it is faulty — and a minor front-end knock can break the wiring branch that connects it while leaving the sensor itself in perfect condition. That is worth knowing before a new sensor is bought.
Also worth checking whether anything else at the front of the car has stopped working at the same time — parking sensors, a camera, front lighting. If several things went together, the fault is in the wiring they share, which is one repair rather than several parts.

These sensors sit at the extreme front of the vehicle, often on their own branch or a short local bus reaching back to a gateway — so a front-end impact, however minor, can sever a branch and take the sensor off the network while leaving it perfectly functional. That is the case where the sensor tests good on a bench and the vehicle still will not see it.
