The car drives normally. Touch controls will feel dead — no small vibration when you press them — which is annoying rather than serious.
But check one thing, because it may not be trivial at all: how does your car warn you about lane departure or blind spots? Many vehicles do it by vibrating the steering wheel or the seat rather than by making a sound. If yours does, that warning is not going to arrive — and there is nothing on the dashboard to tell you it is missing, so it is easy to carry on assuming you are being watched.
Until it is fixed, assume you will not be warned if you drift out of lane or if there is something in your blind spot, and check over your shoulder as you would in an older car.
The vibrating parts live in the seat and the steering wheel, so the wiring under the seat and the coiled cable behind the wheel are the usual suspects — the same two places that cause most seat and steering column faults.

Haptic feedback is touch used as an output channel, and on a modern vehicle it does two quite different jobs — one trivial and one genuinely safety-related.
The trivial job is confirming input. A touchscreen or a touch-sensitive panel with no moving parts gives no natural confirmation that a press registered, so a small vibration is generated to supply it. Losing that makes the controls feel dead and encourages longer glances away from the road, but nothing is at risk.
The safety job is warning. Lane departure warning, blind spot warning and forward collision warning are increasingly delivered as vibration — through the steering wheel, or through the seat cushion or bolsters — rather than as sound. The reason is sound: a chime competes with music, conversation and road noise, while a vibration in the seat cannot be missed and cannot be mistaken for anything else.
So on a vehicle that uses haptic warnings as its primary channel, this code removes the warning rather than the confirmation — and the driver may have no idea, because a warning that does not arrive is invisible. That is the same argument the corpus makes at P2583 and U0232, and it applies here with the extra difficulty that nothing about the dashboard shows a warning channel is missing.
So the practical advice is to find out which your vehicle uses. If the lane departure or blind spot warning is a seat or wheel vibration rather than a sound, assume you will not be warned until this is fixed.
Physically, the actuators live in the seat cushion and the steering wheel, which puts their wiring in the two places the corpus already identifies as worst — the under-seat harness at U0208, and the clockspring at U0212.
