Check whether the subscription is actually paid before anyone charges you to look at this.
This is the satellite or subscription radio receiver. A subscription that has lapsed is not a fault — the equipment works, the signal arrives, and the service declines to authorise it. The screen usually shows an unhelpful error rather than saying so plainly, and a lot of money gets spent diagnosing an unpaid bill.
If you bought the car second-hand, this is especially likely. The subscription belonged to the previous owner and almost certainly was never transferred.
If the car was imported, that is the other common answer. These services only broadcast in certain countries, and a receiver for one that does not cover where you live cannot be repaired into working.
If it is genuinely a technical fault, it is usually the aerial rather than the receiver. Satellite reception needs a clear view of the sky, so mention anything to do with the roof — headlining work, a roof box or bars, or a leak. If the satellite navigation has also been struggling, that points at the roof aerial and makes it one fault rather than two.
Nothing about this affects driving the car.

Vehicles sold second-hand carry these codes for years for that reason, since the subscription belonged to the original owner and was never transferred.
The second thing is geography. These services are regional. An imported vehicle carries a receiver for a service that does not broadcast where the vehicle now lives, and no repair changes that.
Where the fault is genuinely technical, it is usually the aerial rather than the receiver. Satellite reception needs a clear view of the sky, so it is affected by exactly the things at U0486 — the roof antenna module and its connectors, headlining work, a roof box, and water at the roof seal. A receiver reporting an implausible signal state alongside poor satellite navigation performance is one fault at the roof rather than two in the entertainment system.
Nothing here affects the vehicle's operation.
