Wat te doen
The car drives normally. What you notice depends on your vehicle — poor radio reception, remote locking not working, tyre pressure warnings misbehaving, or connected services offline. If several of those have gone at once, that is one fault rather than several, which is worth saying.
Two things to check that cost nothing.
The aerial. If your car has a removable roof aerial, make sure it is screwed down properly — they get taken off for car washes and low garages and refitted loosely. If the aerial is in the rear screen, look for a broken element, which an ice scraper or a load in the boot can cause.
Anything you have added. A tracker, a dashcam, a phone booster or a cheap charger sitting near this module can interfere with it. Take them out and see whether the fault clears — that test is free and it is a genuine cause rather than a long shot.
Also mention any damp headlining or pillar trim, since these modules often live high in the car where roof and screen leaks reach them.

The word transceiver is doing real work in this title and is the key to the page: this is a unit that both receives and transmits. That distinguishes it from a plain radio tuner and places it among the vehicle's radio-frequency equipment — the receiver side of remote keys, tyre pressure sensors, telematics and vehicle-to-vehicle systems, depending on the design.
Which functions it covers varies by vehicle, and that is why the symptoms can look unrelated to each other. Radio reception, remote locking, tyre pressure warnings and connected services can all depend on it, so a cluster of complaints spanning entertainment, security and instrumentation is one module rather than several failures. That recognition is the useful content here.
Two causes account for most of these, and both are external rather than internal.
The antenna and its feed. Vehicle antennas live on the roof, in a rear screen's printed elements, or in a shark-fin housing, and their coaxial feed runs the length of the headlining. A roof aerial removed for a car wash or a low garage and refitted loosely, a rear screen element broken by a scraper or a heavy load, or a feed pinched during headlining work are all ordinary findings — and the vehicle reports a transceiver problem when the fault is in what it is connected to.
And aftermarket radio equipment, exactly as at U0214: trackers, dashcams with GPS, phone boosters and cheap chargers all transmit or radiate, and they sit near this module. A vehicle that developed this fault after such a device was fitted should be tested with it removed before anything is bought.
Water is the third, because these modules are frequently mounted high — behind the headlining or near the rear screen — where a leaking sunroof drain or screen seal reaches them, as at U0207.
