A/C Evaporator Temperature Sensor
Keeps the evaporator just above freezing by cycling the compressor. Without it, condensed moisture turns to ice on the fins and blocks airflow completely — which presents as air conditioning that cools well for ten minutes and then blows warm with almost no airflow. Buried in the heater box behind the dashboard, so replacement labour dwarfs the part and the diagnosis is worth being certain about.
