P0ECA: System der Temperatursensoren der Traktionsbatterie — Korrelation mehrerer Sensoren
Was zu tun ist
Expect reduced power and restricted charging while the car distrusts its own temperature readings. Ask for a cold-soak comparison — after standing overnight every sensor in the pack should read the same, and that one check separates a real fault from a measurement problem. Sensors are usually not the answer here.
Was dieser Code bedeutet
The traction battery's temperature sensors, taken together, are reporting a pattern that cannot be right.
These two codes sit above every individual sensor code in the battery, and what they add is not another measurement — it is a judgement about the set.
A single sensor code says one instrument is unreachable or implausible. A pairwise correlation code, of the kind at P0C87, says two neighbours disagree. A multiple sensor correlation says the population as a whole is inconsistent — no individual reading is impossible, no pair is clearly wrong, and the pattern across all of them cannot be produced by a real battery.
That is a genuinely different claim, and it is what catches the failures the other checks are blind to. A shared reference voltage drifting moves every sensor a little; a module's analogue-to-digital converter losing calibration does the same; a software update with wrong scaling does it perfectly consistently. In each case every sensor agrees with every other sensor and they are all wrong together — which pairwise comparison cannot see, because pairwise comparison is looking for disagreement.
So the useful inference is inverted from most codes: this one points at what the sensors have in common, not at any sensor. The module, its reference supply, its calibration, its software. Replacing sensors on this code is the mistake it exists to prevent.
On temperature there is one free test that settles it. After the car has stood overnight, every sensor in the pack must read the same — a battery at rest has no internal heat source and reaches equilibrium. A cold-soak comparison therefore separates a genuine thermal gradient from a measurement fault at zero cost, and it is the first thing to ask for.

Dazu wurde noch nichts veröffentlicht. Was immer Sie gefunden haben, ist es wert, aufgeschrieben zu werden — selbst eine Sackgasse erspart jemandem denselben Nachmittag.
Was einen Bericht lesenswert macht:
- Das Fahrzeug — Marke, Modell, Baujahr und Motor. Derselbe Fehler verhält sich auf jedem anders.
- Was Sie gemessen haben, nicht nur, was Sie getauscht haben.
- Was es tatsächlich behoben hat — oder dass nichts es behoben hat, was ebenso nützlich ist.
