U0332: Softwareinkompatibilität mit dem Modul A des mehrachsigen Beschleunigungssensors
Was zu tun ist
Your stability control and traction control are switched off. The car drives and brakes normally — there is just nothing catching a mistake now. Leave more room in the wet, and take wet junctions and roundabouts gently.
Nothing is broken, and it is worth understanding why the car has been so firm about switching the systems off.
This sensor measures the car sliding, turning and pitching. But which physical direction each of its measurements corresponds to depends on how the sensor is mounted — and that is described in software, not built into the part. Two identical sensors can be fitted at different angles in different cars.
So when the software does not match, the car does not get nonsense. It gets a perfectly sensible-looking signal describing the wrong thing — a slide to the left reported as a slide to the right, for instance. A stability system acting on that would brake the wrong wheel at exactly the wrong moment, and make a slide worse rather than better.
Switching off is the only safe answer, which is why this matters even though you may notice nothing at all.
One thing worth mentioning: has anything been done inside the car — seats out, carpets lifted, centre console work? These sensors live there and get disturbed, so this can be a module put back at the wrong angle as well as a software mismatch.
Was dieser Code bedeutet
A module is running software that does not belong with the multi-axis acceleration sensor module's. See U0300 for the family and U0316 for the stability system this sensor feeds.
This sensor measures acceleration and rotation along its own axes, and the thing that turns those measurements into information about the vehicle is not in the sensor: it is the description of how the sensor is mounted.
A module can be fitted at any angle the packaging allowed — under a seat, on the tunnel, behind the console, sometimes rotated or inverted — and its software carries the transformation from its own axes to the vehicle's. Two vehicles sharing an identical sensor can mount it differently, and the difference is corrected entirely in software.
Which is why a mismatch here is more serious than a sensor fault, and it is worth being precise about the failure it prevents. A wrong transformation does not produce nonsense. It produces a plausible, well-behaved signal that describes the wrong thing — lateral acceleration read as longitudinal, or a yaw rate with its sign reversed.
A stability system acting on a yaw rate of the wrong sign would intervene in the direction opposite to the one required — braking the inside wheel of a slide instead of the outside. That is not a degraded intervention; it is one that makes the situation worse, applied automatically, at the moment the driver has least margin.
So the vehicle switching stability control off is not caution. It is the only acceptable response, and it is why this page sits at high severity while the driver may notice nothing at all.
Expect stability control, traction control, hill descent and rollover mitigation to be unavailable, and drive with the margin that implies.
Two things follow for the repair. These modules are frequently disturbed by seat removal, carpet work and console repairs — see U0125 — so a mismatch appearing after interior work may be a module refitted in the wrong orientation as well as a software one. And the sensor must be re-zeroed on level ground after any correction, or the lamp stays on and the system stays off.

Dazu wurde noch nichts veröffentlicht. Was immer Sie gefunden haben, ist es wert, aufgeschrieben zu werden — selbst eine Sackgasse erspart jemandem denselben Nachmittag.
Was einen Bericht lesenswert macht:
- Das Fahrzeug — Marke, Modell, Baujahr und Motor. Derselbe Fehler verhält sich auf jedem anders.
- Was Sie gemessen haben, nicht nur, was Sie getauscht haben.
- Was es tatsächlich behoben hat — oder dass nichts es behoben hat, was ebenso nützlich ist.
