The car drives entirely normally, and this is one where doing nothing is a reasonable choice — but not the cheapest-looking nothing.
Three disc players means a car from a particular era: a dash unit, a boot changer and a rear-seat system. That equipment is now often unused, and replacement units are usually only available second-hand from another car of the same age.
So there are two sensible answers. Fix it if you use it. Or ask for it to be properly coded out so the car stops expecting the module to be there.
What is not sensible is unplugging it and leaving the fault stored. A car that keeps looking for a module that is not answering may not switch itself fully off after you lock it — and that flattens the battery over three or four days. That is the version that costs money, and it is the reason not to simply ignore this.
If the changer is in the boot, look for water while you are deciding — a hardened rear light seal or an aged tailgate seal puts water right where it lives.

One numbering note, because this page has no counterpart to point at. The Invalid Data Received family's disc player C sits in the letter-suffixed part of the U048x range rather than at a decimal number, so there is no invalid-data page in this corpus for player C — that family's sequence runs A, B, then D at U0491. This one does have a decimal number. The two ranges simply do not run parallel, and the reasoning at U0488 still applies.
Three disc players effectively dates the vehicle. It means a dash unit, a boot changer and a rear-seat system, or a rear entertainment installation with a player per screen — a configuration that belongs to a particular decade and has not been built since.
Which makes the practical question a different one from the usual. These vehicles are now old enough that the equipment is frequently no longer used, no longer serviceable, and no longer supported — discs scratched, mechanisms seized, replacement units unobtainable except second-hand from another vehicle of the same era. So "repair" is often not the right frame.
The honest options are two, and both are legitimate. Fix it if the equipment is used. Otherwise have it properly coded out, so the vehicle stops expecting it and stops keeping the network awake looking for it. What is not an option is unplugging it and leaving the code stored, because that is the version that flattens batteries.
