U0483: Dados inválidos recebidos do módulo de controle da iluminação dianteira
O que fazer
Get somebody to stand in front of the car while you go through the lights — dipped beam, main beam, indicators, daytime running lights, fog lights. A section that has switched itself off is not always obvious from behind the wheel.
Modern headlights are not bulbs in a reflector. They are strings of LEDs run by electronic drivers, which is why a section going dark is now an electrical fault rather than something you can change yourself. On adaptive systems the segments switch on and off many times a second to cut a hole in the main beam around oncoming traffic.
One thing worth insisting on before any part is ordered. On many cars the LED headlight is a single sealed assembly, and the part is the entire headlamp — often astonishingly expensive. So ask for the module, the wiring and the connectors to be properly checked first. The connectors at the back of the headlight sit in the hottest, wettest corner of the engine bay and are a far commoner cause than the lamp itself.
Mention any condensation you have seen inside a headlight, and any front-end work — a bumper off, a radiator or a headlight changed — since that is where the wiring gets disturbed.
Avoid unlit roads at night until you have confirmed what still works.
O que este código significa
The front lighting control module is broadcasting data that cannot be accepted as true. See U0400 for the family's framing.
Front lighting has changed more in the last decade than almost anything else on a vehicle, and this code belongs to what it changed into.
A filament bulb was switched by a relay and either worked or did not. An LED headlamp is driven by a constant-current electronic driver that has to hold precise current through a string of diodes, manage their temperature, dim them for daytime running, and on an adaptive or matrix unit switch individual segments on and off dozens of times a second to cut a hole in the main beam around an oncoming car.
So the module reports currents, temperatures and segment states, and the receiving module checks them. An implausible report normally results in a channel being shut down — which is why "one section of the headlight is dark" is now an electronic fault rather than a blown bulb, and why it will not be fixed by changing anything.
One consequence is expensive enough that it should shape how the diagnosis is done. On many vehicles the LED units are not serviceable. The diodes, the driver and the optics are one sealed assembly, and the part is the whole headlamp — frequently several times the price of the entire lighting system on an older car. So establishing whether the fault is the control module, the wiring, the connector or the lamp assembly genuinely matters before anything is ordered, and a shop that reaches for the headlamp first is about to spend a great deal of somebody's money on a guess.
The ordinary causes come first and are much cheaper: the connectors at the back of the headlamp, which sit in the wettest, hottest corner of the engine bay; the harness where it crosses to the lamp; and water in the lamp housing, which arrives through a perished bung or a cracked lens and is visible as condensation.
And the safety check is free: confirm the lights actually work — dipped, main, indicators and daytime running — because a shut-down channel is not always obvious from the driver's seat.

O que faz valer a leitura:
- O carro — marca, modelo, ano e motor. A mesma falha se comporta de forma diferente em cada um.
- O que você mediu, não só o que trocou.
