Fuel Tank Pressure Sensor
Measures the small pressure or vacuum inside the sealed fuel tank, and is the instrument the entire leak-detection strategy depends on. A failed sensor reports leaks on a system that has none, so a leak that repeated smoke testing cannot find is a strong hint that the sensor rather than the system is at fault.
