Was zu tun ist
A second screen in the car is showing information it should not, and the car is fine to drive.
There is one free check worth doing, and it will genuinely help whoever fixes it. If your car has two displays — one in the instruments and one in the middle of the dash, say — look at whether they agree. Same remaining range? Same outside temperature? Same tyre pressures?
If they disagree, that tells you which one to ignore. If they show the same wrong thing, the problem is not the screens at all but whatever is feeding both of them, and there is no point replacing either.
Until it is sorted, do not plan a journey around the range readout, and check tyre pressures with a gauge.
As at U0457: if a display unit does need replacing, make sure it is programmed to your car and that any recorded mileage is transferred and documented, because on many vehicles that figure is stored in the display.

A second information display is broadcasting data that cannot be accepted as true. See U0457 for why a display that measures nothing can still produce a hazard.
A vehicle carries more than one of these once the screens outnumber the driver. A cluster display and a separate centre-stack screen, a rear-seat entertainment display, a head-unit screen that also renders vehicle information, or on a commercial vehicle a second display for body equipment. Which one is B is manufacturer-specific and must come from their documentation — the numbering does not follow position.
Where two displays exist, one symptom is diagnostic and free to check: do they agree?
Two screens showing different values for the same thing — a different range, a different temperature, a different tyre pressure — tells you the disagreement is real and which one to distrust. That is more information than either screen alone provides, and it is worth noting before the car goes anywhere.
